To his core, Michael Barata is a social change enthusiast. He has established himself as a master trainer, respected college psychology professor, dynamic public speaker, and inspiring writer. His passion for engaging audiences is complimented by his abilities to deliver meaningful content for people to understand and apply purposefully.

Michael’s writings have been featured in such magazines as Origin Magazine, Mantra Health + Yoga Magazine, and best-selling book, Simple Reminders, Inspiration For Living Your Best Life.

Elliot has spent his entire professional career as an educator and facilitator. After a decade as a primary school teacher and half that time facilitating the learning experiences of new teachers, he was drawn to expand his impact on a global scale. As an adaptive change specialist, he has the reach to do just that.

Elliot is a curriculum-builder. Writer. An agent of change that he sincerely believes in and wants to see realized for anyone who has a job. He doesn’t subscribe to the idea that people should work the way most do today, which leads to feeling like true living comes only at retirement. There’s a better way!

Amy Brown

Director of Organizational Effectiveness

Amy believes the way we work impacts organizations, people, families, and communities. She cares about people and creating work environments that make it possible for them to succeed in both their professional and personal lives. She enjoys asking questions that lead to “aha” moments. Amy’s peer-reviewed publications support the need for changing the way we work to produce the best outcomes and include articles in the Solutions Journal, a book chapter for the Bulletin of Comparative Labour Relations, and the Work-Life Tool Kit for the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM).

Prior to joining the CultureRx team, Amy worked as a human resources business partner and as an organizational culture consultant. She received her Master's degree in Human Resources from the Carlson School of Management, where she won the Best Paper Award for Delivering Effective Feedback, and she completed her undergraduate studies at Mount Holyoke College.

Managing Director

David possesses extensive leadership experience in a diverse set of consulting environments with over 45 years of helping clients respond to changing realities, new opportunities, and critical challenges. This experience has been in various settings such as organizational design and performance, corporate turnarounds and restructurings, vision and strategy development, transformation projects, and information technology adaptation and rollout.

With superb communication skills and a gifted strategic thinker, David embodies a genuinely compassionate leadership style. He has a reputation for assisting executives and teams in thinking well together at critical transition points.

David also has an uncanny ability to see and develop the potential of people and teams. He quietly serves to coach, encourage, and achieve results by facilitating collective thinking, overcoming conflicts, and building pathways to personal and professional growth. He is a caring and effective bridge builder with a serving leadership style.

About Jody’s Globally Acclaimed Work Culture Program

With a decade-plus of corporate management experience, Jody discovered why the solutions of today weren't translating into better outcomes for customers or the employee experience. The opportunity for real systemic change was possible, but it was going to take a truly novel and innovative approach - something that hadn't been tried before.

Jody Thompson co-founded CultureRx with Cali Ressler to engage employers with a truly innovative solution to some of their biggest and most persistent challenges.
