There are times when employees (on all levels) don't have the answer, don't know where to start, or can't see a way forward. We've all been there and probably will be there again.
The BIG question is in those moments of uncertainty and vulnerability, do you feel you can say, "I don't know." and ask for help?
Too often, too many folks will bury their heads and try to grind their way through it, alone. Put in long hours (arrive/log in early and/or stay/log out late). Not call out/off. Miss a personal experience. Ignore one's health. Of course, there can be many factors that lead to such decisions, but let's not gloss over work culture being one of them.
Go getter! Dedicated! Team player! Labels meant to reward can also reinforce an unsustainable way of working and living.
Create and nurture a work culture of support and non-judgment and make the work experience less about the grind and more about growth.
